The New Orleans Saints started off day three of the NFL Draft with their first offensive pick for this year’s draft in Notre Dame QB Ian Book.

Book took his team to new heights in 2020, leading Notre Dame to the College Football Playoff and garnering third-team All-ACC honors while becoming the winningest quarterback in school history with a 30-5 record and throwing for 2,830 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Sixth Round, 206th Overall, OT Landon Young, Kentucky

The New Orleans Saints moved up late in the sixth round, securing a former five-star recruit.

Young, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound left tackle, earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2020 after playing in 11 games.

The Saints traded two picks to the Colts, No. 218 and No. 229, to make the Young pick.

Seventh Round, 255th Overall, Kawaan Baker, WR, South Alabama

The final pick of the 2021 draft for the black and gold focused once again on the offensive side of the football in wide receiver, getting South Alabama wideout Kawaan Baker.

A second-team All-SBC pick in 2020, Baker tied for the team lead with eight receiving touchdowns among his 51 receptions (659 yards, 12.9 per) in 11 starts.
