The Saints preseason ended much like how the other three games did: in disappointing fashion.
The New Orleans Saints, after an electric first quarter, were shutout the rest of the way by the Green Bay Packers on the way to 38-10 loss.
Luke McCown got things started for the Saints with a monster 46-yard pass that led to a short pass to Willie Snead that got the Saints on the board.
Hopkins extended the lead for the Saints later in the first quarter with a 21-yarder going through the uprights to extend the Saints lead to 10-0.
The Packers finally got on the board in the second quarter when Mason Crosby blasted a 54-yarder through the uprights to cut the lead to one touchdown.
After that Brett Hundley became the big story for the Green Bay Packers. The fifth-rounder out of UCLA tied the game up before halftime with a 14-yard pass that connected with Jeff Janis.
Hundley continued to impress throwing to Larry Pinkard who ran it 77-yards to give the Packers the lead in the third quarter.
Hundley and the Packers continued to put their foot on the gas with a pair of scores with Hundley throwing two short passes into the endzone to Myles White in the fourth quarter before John Crockett put the final nail in the coffin with a 15-yard run into the endzone.
The Saints open up the regular season on the road against the Arizona Cardinals with kickoff set for 3:05 pm.
