The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns landed their second running back commit in as many days with Dre’lyn Washington committing on Thursday night.
During his junior season, the Hemphill, Texas native rushed 169 times for 1,959 yards and 28 touchdowns while the Hornets finished the season at 6-6. Washington chose the Cajuns over conference rival Arkansas State and Lamar, who had previously offered him.
Washington joins a backfield with Carencro running back Kendrell Williams, who committed on Wednesday. This is the Cajuns seventh commit for the 2021 class and the third since July 8th when Iowa’s Cejae Ceasar committed to Billy Napier and the Cajuns.
