5. Cam’s Scootin’

Carolina has now responded to losses against the Saints twice with monstrous victories against two of the NFL’s best teams in 2017; New England and now Minnesota. The Panthers are not as good as they were in 2015 but they are as resilient because they still have Cam Newton who, even on not his best day, is able to takeover and win games in the blink of an eye. With the Vikings surging back in the 4th quarter, Cam had enough of his own mediocre play and found a seam on the ground ripping the Purple People Eaters up for a 62 yard splash play. When Cam is scootin’, Carolina is definitely one of those teams you do not want to play come playoff time.

4. Yeah Jeets!

The Captain is part of a new group of terrible Miami Marlins owners, a franchise with a brief but amazing history of money grabbers ruining the team. Jeter’s group has taken over with the idea that they will free up as much cash and start from scratch to build a “true franchise.” In the process of this rebuild, they just gave the NL MVP Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees for some pizza and a gift basket. The Yankees now have the most feared lineup in baseball with Judge and Stanton and someone in Miami is going to get a sweet gift basket for the holidays. Yeah Jeets!

3. L.A. Football

It did not turn out the way the four Rams fans in attendance had hoped yesterday but the Rams are clearly one of the NFC’s best going toe to toe with Philly like they did. The Chargers have not won the West nor clinched a spot in the playoffs yet, but they are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. Could the two most fickle fan bases in the NFL really get a dream match-up in the Super Bowl? What would it be like if these two hooked up!? Well, it probably would be in front a bunch of fickle celebrities who can afford a Super Bowl ticket to that game. Gotta love L.A. Football!

2. The Payton Conspiracy

Unlike cry baby Patriots fans who did not realize the conspiracy has always worked in their favor, Saints fans are truly being tortured by the Sean Payton conspiracy. Falcons players referee their games! Disgruntled ex-employees and arch nemeses are involved in the league office! It is obvious to see that the NFL has it out for the New Orleans Saints and Sean Payton. The best thing about Payton is that he will never go down without a fight.

1. Always #Shalieve

The Steelers we slower on defense last night and everyone knew they would be. It is why Baltimore attacked them on the edges and raced them to the sidelines all night long. The Steelers knew they would be slower too but with that offense, everyone knew that it would not take much from their defense for Pittsburgh to pull off an inspirational victory. With their fallen teammate in mind, the Steeler defense had their only good drives of the night at the very end of the game, sealing the big rivalry game win and clinching the AFC North. There is no explanation for the spirits that guide players on a football field, but you can explain why Ryan Shazier’s teammates left it all out there at the end of the game. It was for him.
