5. The Pelicans Twitter Account
When you land the best big man in game and you don’t give up very much, you feel this kind of swagger through your veins. You might start walking with a limp like George Jefferson or even do a quick fist pump. If you are @PelicansNBA on Twitter, you express your newly found “swag” with a vicious tweet of a Pelican strolling through the zoo to the tune of a Rick Ross jam.

4. Wilt Records
Anthony Davis was able to conquer Wilt Chamberlain’s All Star Game scoring record of 42 points when the Brow put up 52 in the 2017 All Star Game. Of all “The Stilt’s” 73 records, this one is probably his lamest, but it a Wilt Chamberlain record nonetheless. If A.D. really wants to be in the same breathe as Wilt, he needs to gun for one of his REAL records which means he needs to put up more shots on the court and between the sheets.
3. Jared Poche
While it was only a 7 inning game, Jared Poche was still able to keep Army hit-less and the LSU pitcher was nearly perfect if it were not for one dang error! Asterisks are pretty, so I don’t think Poche should be mad when I put one on the first LSU No-No since 1979 because it was still one hellacious way to start a season.
Jared Poche. NO HITTER!!
The 6th No-No in @LSUbaseball history.

2. Playing Coy
The moment DeMarcus Cousins found out he was going to be dealt to the Pelicans is the stuff of legend. You can see his agent whisper the information in his ear while Boogie is being bombarded by reporters to get his thoughts on the All Star Game. Boogie’s face goes from kind of surprised to totally chill in .4 seconds. He then showed his true feelings through a not-so-thinly-veiled foreshadowing of the news the world would be hearing very soon.

1. The Black Beast
Friend of the show Derrick Lewis cut the best promo in any sport of 2017. He is the heavyweight champion we all need. Let’s hope his body recovers from all the training and nookie so he can hoist that belt one day.
