5. Lionhearts

The Saints exploded on the Detroit Lions getting ahead 45-10 in the second half. Everyone from 8 Mile to the announcers booth in the Superdome was screaming “take Matt Stafford out of the game before he gets killed dammit!” They thought it was a game, but he was playing for keeps! Down 35, up 35, the rules are simple and the stakes are high! You win, you live. You lose, you die! Matt Stafford is Lionheart!

4. Tiger Blood

Auburn came into Death Valley like so many times before, confident and a favorite with National Championship aspirations. LSU were seemingly a bunch of wounded freshmen who had their pride trampled on by Mississippi State and Troy. In Death Valley though, under the shade of the cypress tree, all truths will be revealed and on Saturday, the truth was revealed to Auburn one more extremely harsh time.

3. Cheat to Win

We recently celebrated the birthday of the late great Eddie Guerrero. Eddie was smiling down on the NFL yesterday when the Patriots, the refs, and the replay people completely cheated the Jets out of a touchdown. A twisting of the rules and the game went from potential big Jets win to your run-of-the-mill NFL screw job. Damn you Eddie!

2. Dame D.O.L.L.A.

Damian Lillard should be your favorite player not on your favorite team. He defiantly calls out ” super teams” as whack, he balls hard, and he is the best NBA player in the rap game today.

1. The Vulnerable

Four top 10 teams lost in College Football this weekend including the reigning, defending champion Clemson Tigers. These losses all came to un-ranked opponents, once again reminding the country two things: College Football is the best thing going and EVERYONE is vulnerable at some point during the season….except Alabama.
