St. Landry Parish will be in the spotlight this fall.
Delta Media Corp. is proud to announce that all nine parish high schools will be featured with The St. Landry Parish Game of the Week which will be broadcast live every week on The Rewind 97.7 FM and 1330 AM. Also, each football program will have two games broadcast during the regular season.
The duo of play-by-play announcer Raymond Partsch III and color commentator Chad Jones — who had previously called Lafayette High games in 2019 and 2020 — will be broadcasting games all across the parish during the 2020 season.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be calling games for St. Landry Parish high schools this football season,” Partsch said. “My wife is a proud Beau Chene graduate and St. Landry Parish is where we call home.
“To be able to put the spotlight on the parish we call home is special to us,” Partsch added.
“The return to high school football, especially in St. Landry Parish, is one of the most fulfilling moments as a broadcaster for Delta Media,” said Jones, a proud graduate of Port Barre High. “I wish the best experiences for everyone connected to high school football throughout the season.”
