The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns weekend in Conway, South Carolina was a great success, taking two of three and keeping hope alive as they near the final stretch of the regular season.
Todd Lott was a huge benefactor of the change in scenery and that was a big reason why he was named LSWA Hitter of the Week on Monday.
The Jacksonville, Florida native led the team with nine hits, seven RBIs and an impressive .824 slugging percentage. Lott’s big game was on Saturday with the senior racking up a career-high four RBIs to help the Cajuns take the series against the Chanticleers.
After the big weekend, he now leads the team with a .344 average and 37 RBIs and ranks second with 56 total hits.
The Cajuns will return to action on Friday at Russo Park with first pitch set for 6:30 pm when they take on Georgia State.
