Welcome everyone to another edition of #TriplePlay!
Turn One: Rough Start to SEC Play
Two weeks into SEC play, the LSU Tigers are up against the wall with a 2-3 record. But the most telling stat is the scoring for the Tigers. In losses during SEC play, LSU has only scored five runs. It looks like based off of this sample size, it could be a rough road for the Tigers as they head further into SEC play.
Turn Two: Starters Struggle
Another week and the starting pitchers continued to struggle this week against Texas A&M. Alex Lange was the one pitcher who pitched well enough to help LSU win but earned a no decision for his efforts. LSU will need to right the ship and quick when it comes to pitching.
Turn Three: Road Just Keeps Getting Tougher
The Tigers have an interesting week ahead of themselves with a midweek matchup inside Alex Box against Tulane before hitting the road again to take on Auburn. The Tigers haven’t had the best of luck on the road so far this season, going 2-3 when they leave the friendly confines of the Box. The Auburn Tigers may be a sub .500 team, the Tigers can’t take them for granted. If the Tigers want to begin turning things around, it’s this series.
