There have been two stars for the New Orleans Pelicans that have missed an extended period of time in Zion Williamson and Jose Alvarado.
Alvarado, who has missed the last 10 games due to a stress reaction in his right tibia, showed significant improvement after doing some recent medical imaging. He will be re-examined in two to three weeks as he continues his rehabilitation process and looks to get back on the court.
Williamson has been out since January 2nd when the Pelicans played the 76ers with a right hamstring strain. He has been since cleared by the organization to do on-court activities and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Next up for New Orleans is a matchup that will be Thursday, March 23rd versus the Charlotte Hornets in the Smoothie King Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
