After much deliberation, the LSU game against Florida has been postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey stated that “Florida could neither host nor travel to a game considering the circumstances.”
According to the LSU website, the university had offered it’s facility to host the game on Saturday, but it was determined that the likelihood of damage necessitated a postponement.
Both teams open dates do not sync up so they will be trying to figure out how to get this game in. The potential date being pitched around is November 19th when both are facing non-conference foes but nothing has been announced as of yet.
