Louisiana Softball Adds Two Players to 2019 Roster

Posted by clintdomingue on May 30, 2018 in Blogs, Latest News

The season may have ended two weeks ago, but Gerry Glasco hasn’t stopped working. The head coach of the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns softball team announced on Wednesday that two players were added to the roster for the 2019 season in Tiana Patrick and Kandra Lamb.

Patrick, a California native, posted a team-high 19 stolen bases, batted .354 and collected 14 RBIs at Santa Ana College. She was also named to the All-Orange Empire Conference first team and will have three seasons of eligibility with the Cajuns.

Lamb, a native of Australia, helped lead the New South Wales U19 team win a national championship and also pitched in the 2017 Junior Women’s World Championship. The 6’2″ pitcher limited opponents to four hits, struck out 11, and had a 1.17 ERA at the World Championship.
