After all the news about 2019-20 schedule leaks that started to come out over the weekend, NBA fans across the country started looking forward to the complete schedule reveal later this month. However, many have forgotten about the preseason schedule and the New Orleans Pelicans unveiled their five games, which includes only one game inside the Smoothie King Center.
The Pelicans will open preseason play on the road against the Atlanta Hawks on October 7th. This will be a marquee preseason game with four top-10 picks including Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter.
New Orleans then heads to the midwest for a matchup against the Chicago Bulls on October 9th before playing their sole home preseason contest on Friday, October 11 at the Smoothie King Center against the Utah Jazz.
The Pelicans then will head to San Antonio, Texas to take on the Spurs and wrap up preseason action against conclude preseason play at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks.
