Last Thursday was supposed to be the end of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns spring football schedule with their spring game at Cajun Field.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything in the world of sports, especially when it comes to college football. Cajuns wide receivers coach Tim Leger joined Bumper to Bumper Sports on Monday afternoon and gave an in-depth look into how football operations are being done during this unconventional times.
Even when they’re not face-to-face, they’re still able to look at film and discuss certain packages that they want to implement in 2020 via Zoom. Leger also mentioned that the players are required to check-in with strength and conditioning three times a day with a picture of what they’re eating for that particular meal and what they’re doing to stay in football shape.
