Sun Belt Conference announces new date for championship game

The Sun Belt Conference announced on Monday the conference championship game will be moved to Dec. 19.

The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 5. The game will be broadcasted on either ESPN or ESPN 2 and it will feature the East Division and West Division champions.

The time for the game will be announced at a later date.

Last year’s conference champion was Appalachian State after they defeated the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns 45-38 in 2019.
