The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Basketball team continues to make history, becoming the first ever team in the history of the program that will be a part of the Women’s NIT.

The Cajuns will begin the tournament in the Memphis Regional, playing Colorado on Friday, March 19th with tipoff set for 2 pm. This is only the second time Louisiana will have played against the Buffaloes. The last time these two played was a 73-50 loss for the Cajuns on December 4th, 1993.

The four regional champions will advance to the Memphis site, with the semifinals tipping off March 26 and the championship game set for March 28. Every team will get at least two games in this year’s tournament.
