Adam Schefter dropped the news bomb that the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles Monday afternoon agreed to a trade to send each other multiple picks.
Philadelphia will send New Orleans the 16th, 19th, and a sixth overall pick (no. 194) in this year’s draft. The Saints will part with the 18th, 101st (third round), and pick 237 in the seventh round of this year’s draft. The Black and Gold will also be sending their 2023 first round pick and second rounder in 2024.
New Orleans now have the 16th and 19th pick in the 2022 first round, while Philly still pick at 15 and now 18 to open the draft.
The Saints now have possession of the 16th and 19th pick in the first round, 49 in the second, 98th pick in the third, pick 120 in the fourth and pick 161 in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
