As the 2022-2023 season approaches, the Ragin Cajuns land another top talent.

Kyran Ratliff, the No. 3 player in the state according to 247Sports, signed a Grant-In-Aid and will play for Louisiana. Ratliff, a New Orleans native, was a three-star prospect and was selected to the 3A All-State team three times in high school. He averaged 17.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks in his three years at Booker T Washington. Ratliff transferred to Shaun Dumas Academy where he averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks per game in his senior season.

“Kyran is a high-level athlete that has tremendous upside,” said Louisiana head coach Bob Marlin. “We have been recruiting Kyran since his sophomore season and we were fortunate that he was available after he decided to play this summer on the EYBL circuit with the LivOn Fleur De Lis program.”

Ratliff is the fourth player to join the 2022 class with guards Themus Fulks (North Carolina), Vinny Sigona (Texas) and Chancellor White (Texas) for Louisiana, who appeared in the 2022 Sun Belt Tournament Championship game.
