Keon Coleman is headed to the NFL.

The former Opelousas Catholic High and Florida State star wide receiver was selected with the No. 33 overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in Friday’s second round of the NFL Draft. Coleman was the first selection of the second round.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Coleman is coming a stellar season playing for the Seminoles, as he hauled in 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns, and was named a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist.

The former Viking multi-sport star made an impact in his debut as he caught nine passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns against LSU. Those three scores were the most for a FSU wide receiver since 2017, and the most ever in a Seminole debut.

Before last season at FSU, Coleman played two seasons at Michigan State and led the Spartans in all three major receiving categories during the 2022 season. That season, Coleman hauled in 58 receptions for 798 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.

During his prep career at Opelousas Catholic, Coleman was a two-time first-team all-state selection for the Vikings, including scoring 22 touchdowns during his junior season. He was ranked as a three-star athlete by the three major recruiting services 247Sports, ESPN.com, and Rivals.com.
