The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns added another transfer from the transfer portal by signing Zeke Cook to the roster for the 2024-2025 season.
“Zeke is a tough-minded player who is a tenacious rebounder and tough defender,” said head coach Bob Marlin. “We’re excited for what he brings to our culture.”
Cook, a 6’6″ transfer from Jackson State, led the Tigers in rebounding at 6.7 per game last season while also averaging 6.7 points per game. He had a career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds against Georgetown.
The Pheba, Mississippi native scored 437 points and had 396 rebounds in 63 games for the Tigers, making 43 starts.
Prior to Jackson State, Cook spent two seasons with Northeast Mississippi Community College where he averaged 12.2 points per game and 11.3 rebounds as a sophomore.
Cook will have one year of eligibility remaining. He joins transfers Jeremiah Evans, Kyndall Davis, Mostpaha El Moutaouakkil, Christian Wright, and Koron Davis.
