The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team will be apart of the 2027 BRUCE BOLT College Classic at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas during the 2027 season.
As part of the event, the Cajuns will face Utah, Texas A&M, and UConn over the three-day tournament.
The Bruce Bolt Classic features six teams this season, including Louisiana, Utah, Texas A&M, UConn, Louisville, and Houston. The event supports the Astros Foundation and is hosted by both the Houston Astros and Daikin Park. This year is the 27th of the event and the sixth appearance for the Cajuns.
Louisiana is coming off of another NCAA Regional appearance, where they fell in the Regional Final to Mississippi State. For the season, Matt Deggs’ club finished 41-25 overall.
The excitement of the season carried over into the early stages of the offseason, when a number of key contributors announced their intentions to return to the program again next season.
