1st OT: Cajuns Late Collapse
Another road game, another loss. But this one hurt after going on a 17-0 run to open the second half. Letting Arkansas State walk away with the win is probably the most infuriating loss this season. But one question I have is why did Shawn Long take the final shot? When you’ve got guys like Hayward Register and Kasey Shepherd who are solid from the arc, why was Long the one to take the shot?
2nd OT: Shawn Long Carries Cajuns
The senior forward has been the star of the Cajuns this season, but he did too much tonight. No other Cajuns player got in double figures. A few came close, but it seemed like Shawn Long carried the Cajuns and almost won. The team chemistry is not there and that’s one of the biggest reasons why this team isn’t living up to the preseason hype.
3rd OT: Can the Cajuns Turn It Around?
The Ragin Cajuns have a chance to finally get the proverbial monkey off their back with a win against fellow cellar dweller Georgia Southern and win on the road. But if they can’t get a win on the road during this road trip, the Cajuns will not get into the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
