The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns softball team got some preseason accolades on Monday when the All-Conference team selections were released.
Starting things off with Junior Aleah Craighton being named the preseason Sun Belt Softball Preseason Player of the year. Craighton is coming off of a breakout season where she had 18 home runs and a conference-leading slugging percentage of .851.
The Cajuns also led the way with four players being named to the all-conference team. Craighton was joined alongside Haley Hayden, DJ Sanders, and Alex Stewart.
The Cajuns season gets started with the 31st Louisiana Classics on February 10th when they take on DePaul with first pitch set for 3 pm.
