Army Softball Player Scores in a Most Peculiar Way

Posted by codychustz on May 16, 2016 in Featured, Latest News

We have seen players try to find their way around a catcher in a multitude of ways.  Most of the time said player ends up looking foolish and still being tagged before scoring that run.  Well, this time we see one of the most impressive and successful attempts to score a run in quite a long time.  Army softball star Kasey McCravey took to the air before meeting the Lehigh catcher at the plate, McCravey left her feet cleared the catchers head before landing and reaching back to touch home plate safely.  It is one of the most athletic plays you will ever see, not just on a softball field, but any field period.  This insanely talented play lead West Point to a 3-1 victory over Lehigh, and a spot in the conference finals.  Take a look at the video below and tell us what you think about this amazing play.  Was it all on McCravey and her athleticism, or did the catcher botch the tag and allow her to score.  No matter what conclusion you draw, this is a play that will certainly be talked about and watched time and time again.  I say, well done Kasey; keep the highlights coming.
