It took seven tries, but the Houston Astros got another member of the Kiler B’s into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Jeff Bagwell joins Tim Raines, and Ivan Rodriguez in this year’s class for the Baseball Hall of Fame which is voted by the Baseball Writer’s Association. Bagwell received 86.2 percent of the votes.
He won the rookie of the year and MVP awards during his 15 seasons with the Astros. His induction comes one year after his long-time teammate Craig Biggio was inducted into the Hall.
