Ben Garrett, editor for Ole Miss Spirit came on Bumper to Bumper Sports with Ben Love to talk about the wild NFL Draft on Thursday. He gave an interesting perspective on the Laremy Tunsil situation where a player who had been originally projected to go number one, dropped all the way down to 13th in the draft. Tunsil’s draft stock plummeted on Thursday night after a video was put out on his Twitter where he was taking a hit from a gas mask bong.
On a lighter note, they also discussed other Rebels getting picked up in the first round like Laquon Treadwell to the Vikings and Robert Nkemdiche headed to the Cardinals. Concerning Nkemdiche, the discussion was about how it is a perfect fit for defensive tackle with guys like Bruce Arians and Tyrann Mathieu there to help him get right after a tumultuous 2015.
