LSU running back Trey Holly has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Union Parish this past weekend.
The Farmerville native is currently facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal use of a weapon, which are all three felonies. He is currently on a $512,000 bond.
Holly, the LHSAA all-time leader in career rushing yards, is currently suspended from all team activities and LSU is aware of the incident.
Holly had 11 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown in his true freshman campaign, but will now likely be away from the team. The running back room will now take another hit after losing Logan Diggs to the transfer portal earlier this offseason.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
