Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns linebacker Jaden Dugger was drafted in the 5th Round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
Dugger started his collegiate career at Georgetown, where he played safety. He transferred to the Cajuns before the 2024 season, and spent that year in a variety of different roles.
Before 2025, he settled in as the team’s middle linebacker, and enjoyed a breakout season. He finished the campaign with 118 total tackles, including 11 tackles for loss. He also racked up four sacks and an interception.
Dugger joins the 49ers defense, where he will get the chance to play with one of the league’s best linebackers in Fred Warner.
