The Ragin Cajuns had a case of deja vu on Saturday after heading up to Ruston and getting steamrolled by Louisiana Tech 43-14.
The Cajuns came out strong on the opening drive with Jalen Nixon passing to Eli McGuire who took care of the rest heading down the field for the early score.
The Bulldogs responded with a score of their own with Jeff Driskell throwing a short pass to Trent Taylor to knot things up.
After that, it was all Bulldogs, with Driskell giving LA Tech the lead with a 19-yard run early in the second quarter.
After a safety off of a blocked punt, two long field goals by Jonathan Barnes, the Bulldogs wrapped up the first half with a pick six by Bryson Abraham to give the Bulldogs a 29-7 lead heading into the locker room.
Driskell wasted little time in the second half, throwing to Marcus Gaines who went flying down the field 72-yards for the score.
Nixon was able to run in for a score late in the third quarter, but Kenneth Dixon put the nail in the coffin with a 6-yard run for the score.
