The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns will have at least one of their star pitchers coming back for the 2018 season. Junior pitcher Gunner Leger tweeted out a statement on Wednesday afternoon saying that he would come back for his senior season.

The Sun Belt Conference player of the year was drafted later on Wednesday by the Miami Marlins in the 26th round, but stood by his decision
However, he wasn’t the only Cajun to be picked up by a team during the final day of the 2017 MLB Draft. Steven Sensley, Wyatt Marks, and Evan Guillory were picked in the 12th, 13th, and 23rd rounds respectively.
When it comes to Sensley and Marks, odds are they will take the deals. However, with Evan Guillory he could return to join Leger because he was drafted at the 23rd round.
