LSU baseball received some weekly honors from the SEC and based off of what he did, it was well deserved.
LSU second baseman Cole Freeman earned Co-SEC Player of the Week honors along with Mizzou’s Robbie Glendinning. The senior hit .500 in four games last week, two RBIs and had an on-base percentage of.556.
Freeman is in the midst of a 10-game hit streak and leading the SEC with a .482 batting average.
LSU will return to action on Tuesday against Louisiana College with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 pm.
