Things have been relatively quiet lately for the New Orleans Saints when it comes to free agency. That changed on Monday when former linebacker Jonathan Freeny signed with the Detroit Lions.

Freeny joined the Saints late in the season and helped the, build some depth at the linebacker position. He was huge for them in the postseason with five tackles and a sack in two playoff games.
The actual terms of the deal were not disclosed.
