Every few weeks the lineup of THE GAME 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles — Southwest Louisiana’s Sports Station will share a little something about themselves.
This week the team answers the question: “What is your favorite sport to watch and what is your favorite sport to play?”
Hannah Five Names (Morning Producer)
“My favorite sport to watch is soccer because I grew up watching my brother play and all sitting around the house as a family watching the World Cup. We had to watch football so it’s right there as a close second. My favorite to play is harder to answer than what sport I don’t like to play, which is golf. We had a lot between our house and the next one that we owned so we played all the sports all the time at my house.”
Matt Miguez (Host of Crunchtime with Miguez & Meche)
“My favorite sport to watch has to be either hockey or soccer, because of its complexity and the drama that unfolds with a late goal. From the NHL for hockey and the Premier League and Champions League for soccer, they are both great sports. Favorite sport has always been basketball. I love the way the game can come together on the court and getting to do it with friends makes it even more enjoyable.”
Clint Domingue (Host of Under the Dome)
“In terms of watching sports, there’s two schools of thought for me and it’s watching it on TV versus watching in person. I’d say watching on TV, football wins that debate and it’s not really that close. When it comes to watching in person, I’ve got to go with baseball. Nothing beats an afternoon at the ballpark in my opinion. Favorite sport to play has to be basketball – always loved playing it in the driveway back when I was younger and still enjoy it a little more than some of the other sports.”
Raymond Partsch III (Host of RP3 & Company)
“My favorite sport to play when I was a kid was always baseball. Even when I was terrible at it, which I was often, it was still my favorite to play. A close second would be playing basketball in my neighborhood with my friends. Those games of playing Tip-In 21 in driveways were amazing. As for what is my favorite to watch, in person it has to be baseball. Nothing beats watching baseball in the stands. Football is my favorite to watch from the comfort of my recliner.”
Jordy Hultberg (Host of The Jordy Hultberg Show)
“My favorite sport to play was and still is basketball. I have no single favorite to watch. I’ve grown to love to watch all sports.”
James Meche (Afternoon Shows Producer)
“My favorite sport to watch and play is football. My dad was a quarterback in high school and my favorite position is wide receiver so playing pickup and intramural football games are the most fun for me. Basketball is a close second but I’m always down to throw if you ever ask me.”
Kevin Foote (Host of Footenotes)
“Favorite sport to watch is football with the Saints play and baseball when the Astros play. But really my favorite season to follow is baseball. Favorite to play would be a good old family or church softball game. I’m too old for baseball – that little ball goes too fast for me these days.”
