The accolades have really been rolling in for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns this week. From basketball to baseball, they’ve gotten a lot of recognition from the Sun Belt.
Another one of those weekly honors went to none other than Gunner Leger. The junior star pitcher was named Sun Belt pitcher of the week after a great performance against Southern Miss.
He was able to improve to 2-1 on the season allowing one run off four hits and struck out eight batters in six innings of work in the first night inside of Russo Park.
The Cajuns were supposed to take on Tulane on Tuesday, but due to inclement weather, the game was cancelled with currently no rescheduled date.
