The New Orleans Saints added some depth to the position of safety on Wednesday when they signed on former Carolina Panther Kurt Coleman.
Coleman has been signed to a three-year deal and this is another sign that Kenny Vaccaro will no longer be a Saint.
The 29-year old safety played 12 games last season had 51 tackles, defended three passes, and had a fumble recovery. He was released by the Panthers to free up some salary cap space.
Coleman will be competing for playing time with the Saints young stars in Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams.
