Friday night’s matchup between Lafayette High and LaGrange wound up being a heated affair.

The game saw  a player for LaGrange get ejected in the first quarter and Rob Pool, head coach for Lafayette High get ejected later in the ballgame. Tensions flared in the fourth quarter with both teams getting into a bench-clearing brawl.

According to the rules, the players that have been ejected will be suspended for one game. Due to the number of players that have been ejected, Lafayette High and LaGrange have been told to forfeit their games on Friday night against Sam Houston and Acadiana, respectively.

The LHSAA is expected to make the decision official on Tuesday.
