The St.Thomas More Cougars offensive coordinator Shane Savoie came on Bumper to Bumper Sports on Monday as part of the inaugural edition of the Prep Spotlight sponsored by the Law Offices of Blaine Barrilleaux.
Savoie talked about the Cougars still hungry for another state championship after winning their first title last season. He also talked about senior quarterback Nate Cox’s great senior season.
“It really is amazing to see what he’s done as a player. I want to say last year we were in the same spot trying to figure what we were going to do to replace Will Bellamy and to have Nate do what he did for us, it’s phenomenal. I told him ‘Nate, if you would’ve done half of what you did this season it would’ve been more than what we expected for you coming into your senior year.'”
