The University of Louisiana has announced a home-and-home football series in 2024 and 2027 with Kennesaw State University, the two schools announced Wednesday.
The Ragin’ Cajuns will take on the Owls on Sept. 7, 2024, while Kennesaw State will make the return trip to Lafayette on Sept. 25, 2027.
The meeting in 2024 will be the first time the two programs have squared off on the gridiron. The Owls played their final game of the 2023 season this past Saturday, defeating Virginia-Lynchburg 63-3 to finish the season with a 3-6 overall record.
The Owls are set to officially join the FBS and Conference USA in July 2024 as a part of the most recent wave of conference realignment.
