Storylines
Cajuns Catching Fire at the Plate
After a rough start to the regular season, the Cajuns bats are starting to wake up, hitting .254 over the weekend against Georgia Southern. With a pitcher like Goree, you could see the Cajuns keep that rolling when they take on McNeese State.
Red-Hot Cowboys
While the Cowboys record is the same as the Cajuns, they’ve turned things around, currently on a six-game win streak. Their bats have caught fire as well in a sweep of Stephen F. Austin, hitting .268 on the weekend. The bullpen will be relied on in tonight’s matchup against the Cajuns as Goree had a rough outing last week allowing four runs off of seven hits in three and two-thirds of an inning of work against the Houston Cougars.
