Storylines
Will Hogan Pitch From the Pen?
As the Cajuns are getting closer to a big matchup against LSU in the Wally Pontiff Classic, the Cajuns seem to be in the middle of a big decision when it comes to who starts. Does Robichaux trot out Austin Perrin who had a very good performance last Wednesday against McNeese or is Hogan Harris ready to go for an extended outing? That will likely be answered during the weekend and depends on how the starters fare, especially on Sunday with Colten Schmidt on the bump.
Cajuns Bats Are Alive
It’s safe to say that this is the biggest thing several Cajuns fans have been waiting for and that’s the bats starting to come alive. We saw that last weekend in Statesboro and on Wednesday in Lake Charles, but the real test is if they can do that in the friendly confines of Russo Park, where things have been up and down offensively.
