You could cut the tension with a knife on Sunday evening. Several softball players for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns were intently watching the television as the eight o’clock hour began.
No, the softball team wasn’t watching the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, they were eagerly anticipating where they would be seeded in the NCAA Softball Tournament. There were audible gasps as certain teams were announced, but the biggest sigh of relief came when Louisiana Tech was the last team placed in the Baton Rouge Regional. For the first time since 2016, the Cajuns weren’t headed to Tiger Park. Instead, they’re headed over to Oxford, Mississippi for the Ole Miss Regional.
And @RaginCajunsSB are headed to Oxford. Pretty fair draw IMO. pic.twitter.com/Fvpk10lJzF
