After taking two of three from the fourth ranked Alabama, the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns softball team swept the honors for player and pitcher of the week by the Sun Belt.
Shortstop DJ Sanders was named the Sun Belt Player of the Week. The junior had four runs, four hits, and four RBIs in the series against the Crimson Tide last weekend.
True freshman Alyssa Denham received Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week honors. This comes after a two-hit shutout against Alabama in the Sunday game.
The Cajuns will stay inside Lamson when they host the Mardi Gras Invitational starting with a game against Drake on February 23rd with first pitch set for 4:30 pm.
