The LSU Tigers (13-4) got a great offensive performance on Tuesday night when they shut out Louisiana College 13-0.
The Tigers wasted little time getting on the board with Greg Deichmann hitting an RBI double to right field. They would score two more runs later in the inning.
LSU extended their lead with two runs in the fourth highlighted by an RBI single from Nick Coomes.
The Tigers would put the final nail in the coffin in the bottom of the seventh with Antoine Duplantis capping off a seven-run inning with a three-run double to right center field.
Freshman Zach Hess improved to 2-0 on the season with six shutout innings allowing only one hit and striking out seven batters.
The Tigers will look to split the midweek series against the UNO Privateers (9-7) with first pitch set for 6:30 pm.
