The LSU Tigers are coming off of a rough week.

Overall, they went 1-4, suffering losses to Northeastern, Louisiana, and losing two of three to Sacramento State.

As a result, the Tigers have dropped in the major college baseball polls. D1Baseball and Baseball America both dropped them down to #13.

Up next for the Tigers is the start of SEC play. They will be in Nashville to face Vanderbilt for three games beginning on Friday. You can listen to the action on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette 104.1 Lake Charles.

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns had a great week, winning three of four games including the one over LSU and taking two of three from Dallas Baptist on the road. While they haven’t cracked the rankings yet, they were included in the “others considered” category for D1Baseball.
