The 2023 college baseball National Champions unveiled their 2024 regular season schedule on Wednesday, as LSU will begin their season hosting VMI inside Alex Box Stadium on February 16.
The Tigers have 27 games on their schedule against teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament a year ago, with six games coming against teams that were in Omaha.
Start times for these matchups have yet to be determined due to TV schedules and travel arrangements.
The highlight of LSU’s non-conference schedule is the Astros Foundation Classic taking place at Minute Maid Park in Houston from March 1-3. The Tigers will play Texas, Texas State, and Louisiana in the tournament. LSU will begin their stretch in Houston by playing at Rice on Wednesday, February 28th.
The 30-game SEC schedule begins with Mississippi State on the road on March 15. Jay Johnson’s squad will also travel to play Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Alabama.
LSU will welcome national runner-up Florida, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss to Alex Box Stadium in conference play.
During fall camp, the Tigers will play a pair of exhibition games against McNeese (Nov 5) and Louisiana (Nov 12). Both games are scheduled to begin at Noon.
