It seems like the LSU Tigers (16-5) have found their midweek pitcher in Zach Hess who put together a solid performance on Wednesday night as they beat Southeastern (14-5) 8-2.
The Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the second with an RBI double to center field from Josh Smith.
Greg Deichmann made it 4-0 in the third with a three-run shot to left field. However, Tyler Schwaner responded to get the Lions on the board with a home run of his own in the fourth.
The Tigers got four mores runs in the eighth, including a three-run double from Smith to put the game out of reach.
Zach Hess improved to 3-0 on the year allowing one run off of two hits, walked two and struck out four in four innings of work.
