We’ve had time to digest more free agency moves that the NFL teams have made. That Wednesday night Russell Wilson signing threw off everything for me, but these are my latest picks for the upcoming draft:
- Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward – QB – Miami
I had to make the change at the top after the first mock. Everything points to Ward heading to Tennessee. - Cleveland Browns – Abdul Carter – ED – Penn State
Instead of Carter getting taken first and Ward taking his place, he drops down, but not that far. Cleveland seems like a team that wants to make sure Myles Garrett is happy, not only in the pockets but with another premier pass rusher on the opposite side of the defensive line. - New York Giants – Travis Hunter – CB/WR – Colorado
The Russell Wilson signing threw off my initial 2.0 mock because there’s no way the organization takes someone like Shedeur Sanders at three when they signed two veteran QBs. It makes all of the sense in the world for the Giants to take the best player available here. - New England Patriots – Mason Graham – IDL – Michigan
At this point, New England has addressed the offensive line multiple times. Adding Graham to the interior of the defensive line could help counter the talented backfields that the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins have. - Jacksonville Jaguars – Will Campbell – OT – LSU
Jacksonville brought in an offensive-minded head coach, and that leads me to believe they’ll go offense with the fifth overall pick. The pass catchers don’t feel like a need this high in the draft, and taking an offensive lineman is standard year in and year out. - Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty – RB – Boise State
I’ve fully convinced myself that the Raiders take arguably the most talented player in the draft who’s at a position of need. Jenaty would breathe new life into a mostly vacant running back room. - New York Jets – Armand Membou – OT – Missouri
New York is in a weird spot. I don’t want to fully rule out them taking a quarterback since they didn’t sign Justin Fields to a long-term deal, but logically, protecting Fields would give him a better chance to succeed in the Big Apple. - Carolina Panthers – Mike Green – ED – Marshall
Not too long ago, the Panthers traded Brian Burns to the Giants and haven’t found a great replacement since. Green’s a player who could fly up draft boards because of his production and potential as an edge rusher. - New Orleans Saints – Jahdae Barron – CB – Texas
Will Johnson made a lot of sense for the Saints since they love having injured players. I’ll make the change for now, keep them taking a cornerback, but switching to Barron with his versatility and ability to play just about everywhere in the secondary. - Chicago Bears – Mykel Williams – ED – Georgia
Chicago is in a similar situation as New England. Because of that, I also have the Bears taking a defensive lineman, more specifically, a Georgia edge rusher in Mykel Williams. - San Francisco 49ers – Will Johnson – CB – Michigan
San Fran has lost so many corners since the start of the new league year, most notably Charvarius Ward, who is now with the Colts. Johnson falls a couple of spots, but not too far. - Dallas Cowboys – Tetairoa McMillan – WR – Arizona
This pick seems odd at first since CeeDee Lamb is one of the best receivers in the NFL, but the Cowboys moved on from Brandin Cooks and Michael Gallup retired. I’m also not convinced about KayVonte Turpin and Jalen Tolbert as nice compliments to Lamb on the outside. - Miami Dolphins – Kenneth Grant – IDL – Michigan
Grant will fill a hole at nose tackle that hasn’t been filled since Christian Wilkins packed his bags and headed to Vegas. - Indianapolis Colts – Tyler Warren – TE – Penn State
I’m still of the mindset that Indy should take the top Tight End talent in Tyler Warren. I was led to think they would’ve taken Brock Bowers last year. The issue was he was taken by the Raiders before the Colts had a chance. - Atlanta Falcons – James Pearce Jr. – ED – Tennessee
The Falcons have taken plenty of edge rushers with their first round picks before. Pearce is near the top of his position in this class. The issue with him is his attitude. - Arizona Cardinals – Shemar Stewart – ED – Texas A&M
Arizona signed Josh Sweat to a massive deal to open the offseason, but that doesn’t mean their defensive line couldn’t use more help. Shemar Stewart is a similar build that some of the other edge rushers that the Cardinals have on their roster. - Cincinnati Bengals – Donovan Ezeiruaku – ED – Boston College
It sounds like Trey Hendrickson may stay in Cincy after all; they just need to work things out. That doesn’t change my mind about getting another edge rusher, just in case. - Seattle Seahawks – Walter Nolen – IDL – Ole Miss
Nolen has gotten high regard from many scouts and analysts across the NFL landscape. The former Ole Miss Rebel would create a scary three-down linemen group, including Leonard Williams and Jarran Reed. - Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jihaad Campbell – LB – Alabama
Lavonte David can only sign so many more one-year deals to stay with the Bucs. At some point, Tampa will need to find his replacement. Campbell would be a candidate who could play multiple linebacker positions. - Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton – RB – North Carolina
The experiment with Javonte Williams just didn’t work out for Denver. We’ve seen Sean Payton-led teams take talented running backs high in drafts. Hampton has gained a lot of traction lately. - Pittsburgh Steelers – Shedeur Sanders – QB – Colorado
I don’t necessarily believe that Sanders falls outside of the top 20. It’s more about Pittsburgh potentially trading up to make sure they get Shedeur and try to have a legit starting quarterback. - Los Angeles Chargers – Malaki Starks – S – Georgia
Starks is one of those players who would bring a starting-caliber player and could pair well with one of the best safeties in the league in Derwin James. - Green Bay Packers – Nick Emmanwori – S – South Carolina
Many positions and directions I could’ve gone were negated because I previously took them. Emmanwori is a good player to take, even though it isn’t a position of need. - Minnesota Vikings – Quinshon Judkins – RB – Ohio State
I was surprised I got to a third running back, but I’m not confident Minnesota feels the need to address any other positions at this point. Judkins is also a stud ball carrier, and that could take it to the house on any given play. - Houston Texans – Kelvin Banks Jr. – OT – Texas
Houston let go of multiple starters, including their left tackle. Banks played somewhat nearby with the Longhorns and could help keep CJ Stroud protected. - Los Angeles Rams – Colston Loveland – TE – Michigan
Loveland is such a well-rounded prospect and has a great chance of being taken in the first round. I also don’t expect Tyler Higbee to return in 2026, and there’s not much in that position room outside of him. - Baltimore Ravens – Trey Amos – CB – Ole Miss
Slightly pushed Amos up, and it’s mainly because I feel Baltimore could use some more cornerback depth. Amos got better as his college career progressed and was impressive at the Reese’s Senior Bowl. - Detroit Lions – Emeka Egbuka – WR – Ohio State
The Lions have built so good of a team and set themselves up to have this pick be a luxury pick. Egbuka isn’t a dominant number one wide receiver option for a team but is another threat on the outside opposite of Jameson Williams while Amon-Ra St. Brown works in the slot. - Washington Commanders – Jalon Walker – LB – Georgia
Since Campbell was taken way ahead of the Commanders’ pick, I made a slight adjustment and gave Washignton another linebacker, this time Walker, who can play off-ball. - Buffalo Bills – Grey Zabel – OT – North Dakota State
I like Buffalo’s tackles, especially since both starters recently got nig contract extensions. Zabel is listed as a tackle, too, but I can see him getting kicked to guard to help with the interior. - Kansas City Chiefs – Josh Simmons – OT – Ohio State
Kansas City is desperate to try and find better, consistent starters for the offensive tackle positions. Simmons played well in his time with the Buckeyes and could be a nice addition to the starting line. - Philadelphia Eagles – Nic Scourton – ED – Texas A&M
The Eagles lost a ton of defensive talent this offseason, with guys like Josh Sweat and Milton Williams getting paid elsewhere. Trying to recoup some young players at those positions makes sense.
