It was reported earlier in the week that New Orleans was the lone front runner for a bid for the Super Bowl in 2024, but it’s now official that the Mercedes Benz Superdome will be the host for Super Bowl LVIII.

After the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation made a presentation during the Spring League Meetings in Atlanta, it was made official on Thursday with a press conference also mentioning that Arizona would host the Super Bowl in the year 2023. It’ll be the eighth time that the city of New Orleans has hosted the Super Bowl and the first time since 2013 when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
