Storylines
Opportunistic Offense
While the Cajuns midweek games didn’t check off all of the boxes on offense, they were able to make the most of the mistakes that their opponents made. Look at the win against Louisiana Tech and you’ll see that they got things done. Add some solid hitting from the heart of the lineup and we’re talking about a big series win as the end of the regular draws closer.
Bullpen Key
Having a relatively fresh bullpen after a good outing by Austin Perrin on Tuesday and not having to go Jack/Johnny against UNO is huge for this weekend. Nick Lee could see an extended outing on Saturday, it’ll be crucial to get a big performance by the rest of the bullpen on Sunday.
