Storylines
Must Sweep Series
The Cajuns can’t play around anymore with two weeks left until the end of the regular season. After taking two of three from the top dog in the Sun Belt in Coastal Carolina puts the pressure on this team to get a sweep against a lower-level team like the Bobcats from Texas State to solidify their spot in the conference tournament at Russo Park. Some things could happen this weekend to improve their lot in life, further putting pressure on this team to get things done this weekend in San Marcos.
TBA Big Question
The Cajuns have a bevy of good pitchers, but seem to snakebit when it comes to their Sunday starter. After some shuffling around with the pitching rotation following Hogan’s return from injury, we don’t quite know who will get the nod on Sunday. That might be the biggest thing holding this program back from sweeping this series.
